Maintenance and service for your special-purpose machines

Baltic Coast Technologies (BCT) takes care of the maintenance of your special-purpose machines, either remotely or on site, and ensures you are supplied with spare parts, including for existing machines from the Schöler range.

Technical service around the clock

You can reach our service hotline round the clock. We resolve many problems directly via remote maintenance and support, without anyone having to travel to your premises. If an on-site visit is necessary, our technicians will come to you.

The process is almost always the same: you describe to us what the equipment is doing and what it should be indicating. We monitor the control system remotely and narrow down whether the issue is due to wear and tear, a parameter setting or a peripheral device. Only if the problem cannot be resolved remotely do we schedule an on-site visit. On request, we can train your users so that some of these issues can be resolved directly on your premises in future.

Support for existing machines

We service not only BCT machines, but also the global fleet of specialised machines from the former Schöler business. You will continue to receive spare parts, control system updates and, where appropriate, hardware upgrades. We will also provide support should your machine be relocated.

This is the advantage of having access to the full range of Schöler’s expertise in the form of all design documentation: where necessary, we manufacture new spare parts ourselves rather than sourcing them on the market. For older plants, this is often the only option, as the original parts are no longer available. This means that, rather than purchasing a new plant, you also have the option of modernising an existing plant.

Predictive maintenance

By collecting and analysing your process data, we can identify wear and tear before it leads to a shutdown. This enables us to plan maintenance proactively rather than reactively, whilst also optimising your system's output and speed. The difference is evident in the calendar: a planned shutdown takes place during a production break, whilst an unplanned one occurs in the middle of a job.

Spare parts and maintenance contracts

To ensure your production remains predictable, we offer fixed agreements and a reliable supply of parts. We manufacture wear parts in-house, including for machines for which spare parts are no longer otherwise available:

  • Maintenance contracts and service agreements

  • Spare parts and wear parts, including for older machines

  • Control system updates and technical hotline

  • Remote support and operator training

  • Hardware upgrades and support with relocation

The most appropriate approach depends on how critical the system is to your production. For a machine whose system failure would bring the entire line to a standstill, it is worth having a fixed agreement with defined maintenance intervals. For non-critical machines, simply supplying wear parts is often sufficient. Please get in touch with us and we will work through both options with you.
